Emily & Torsten | Decatur, Georgia | Atlanta Wedding Photographer

I don’t even know where to begin. This day completely stole my heart. I’d been looking forward to it ever since their engagement photos over a year ago; I found kindred souls in them, and knew it was going to be a day full of love.
Emily got ready at her parent’s house, among their many books and her father’s microscope collection. She and Torsten met in a small garden near the house, and many tears were shed (not just their’s.) After exchanging vows privately, we reconvened with their giddy family and friends, and made our way to the venue.

I’m not gonna lie y’all: it was hot. Like really hot. But honestly you stopped noticing once the ceremony started. Everyone was so, so happy. More tears were shed, including from the officiant. It was so good. Emily and Torsten had surrounded themselves with such loving and warm people, and the day was beautiful. From custom cornhole boards that Torsten made himself to an incredible sunset to cocktails that were literally on fire, this weekend was one for the books.
